Concerned Edo Leaders Float ‘PDP Rainbow Caucus‘, Vows to Unite Party

Some concerned Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders, drawn from the three senatorial districts in their determination to bring about peace in the party, have floated the ‘PDP Rainbow Caucus.‘

According to a pre-launch press release, the the Rainbow Caucus said their aim and objective is “…to ensure intra party harmony and unity during the forthcoming Gubernatorial primaries and other elections.”

Members of the Association are leaders drawn from the three Senatorial Districts in the State.

“We have observed sadly, the breakdown of peace and unity in our party, the PDP.

“The reason for the birth of PDP Rainbow Caucus is to bring about the hurriedly needed oneness through collaborative plan of action that can unite the party before and after the elections.” The group said.

The convener of the association is a former South South Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prince Austin Eweka.

Members of the Rainbow Caucus are Hon. Sunny Aguebor, Hon. Osaze Osemwegie-Ero, Dr. Ebima Ogbeide, Hon. Orobosa Omo-Ojo JP, Hon. Edos Ebomoyi, Hon Evbareke Osunde, Mr. Oteghe Adam’s and Hon. Scott Ogbemudia.

Others are, Hon. Tom Aroko, Hon. Josie Ogedegbe, Hon. Lawal Braimoh, Hon. Okoro Monday Osadebamwen and Mr. Osagie Okah and others.
