Tragedy: Six Dead in Crashes on Lagos 3rd Mainland Bridge Returning from Seyi Vibez Concert

Disaster struck last Sunday when some fun seekers were involved in multiple accident. Several sources have reported that the fatal crashes claimed lives on Lagos Third Mainland Bridge after attending Seyi Vibez’s Lagos Concert. They were said to have opted for car racing on the longests city bridge in Africa.
A sources reported that some over excited fans who left the concert, later engaged in frivolous high-speed racing on the bridge which led to the multiple fatal accidents.
The tragedy struck in the early hours of Sunday 24, August 2025, during the late-night racing spree after popular singer Seyi Vibez’s homecoming concert.
A video obtained sent to midwestherald.ng, showed several vehicles badly damaged and human bodies mangled beyond recognition.
One of the victims is a young woman who was flung into the lagoon. She was buried later on Sunday in line with Islamic rites.
The five others who died in the crashes were laid to rest at Marikaz Cemetery, Agege, on Monday morning, according to a trusted source.
