Sunny Adeleke Pedro Goes into Hiding After Being Attack By Anti-Gay Group

Mr. Sunny Adeleke, a resident of Edo State, who neighbours have accused of engaging in illegal gay activities has been declared wanted by local vigilante security outfit.

Midwest Herald gathered that his ordeal started when he reported to anti-gay agencies of the Nigerian government.

He managed to evade their arrest but he wasn’t so lucky as he had been attacked several times, brutalised and dehumanised by his neighbours. His home in the village were he ran to, has been razed down by irate anti-gay people in the community and he is now a homeless fugitive.

He has been left stranded because he had to flee the community. His parents and siblings cannot also accommodate him, as they are afraid of being attacked for harbouring a homosexual.

Adeleke has now resorted to sneaking in and out of his hideout. Some neighbours who spoke to Midwest Herald confirmed that the suspected gay hasn’t been seen in around his neighbourhood or at work.

It will be recalled that ex President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan signed into law, the anti-gay law that criminalised same sex relationship in Nigeria.
