Impeachment: Shaibu Floors Obaseki, Court Restrains Governor, Assembly Others

An Abuja court has restrained Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, the State House of Assembly, and the Chief Judge of Edo State from going ahead with the planed impeachment of Comrade Phillip Shaibu as Deputy Governor of Edo State.
The restraining order was granted by Justice James Kolowole Omotosho of the Federal High Court 7, Abuja, today March 19, 2024.
