APC Delta Leaders Meet National Chairman, Brief Him On Peace Building Effort, Receives Support for Party Unity

The Leadership of APC in Delta State today Dec 19th 2024, met with the National Chairman of APC HE Abdullahi Ganduje Abuja.
The team led by the Honourable Minister of Aviation, Olorogun Barr Festus Keyamo, SAN, briefed the Chairman on the state of the Party in Delta State, the efforts at reconciling all party members, the Report of the Reconciliation Committee already approved by the Delta State SWC and earlier submitted to the National Chairman and the need for the National Chairman to work with the APC Delta Leadership to put the Party on a strong footing towards 2027 general eLeadershi
The leadership used the opportunity to emphasise that the era of one-man leadership show in Delta is gone as the major actors in the Delta APC have decided to work together as a team towards repositioning the party. This was exemplified by the composition of the team that visited the National Chairman.
In response, the National Chairman thanked the leadership on their visit and efforts to unite the Party towards victory.
He pledged to ensure all Delta APC leaders, including any not at the meeting, would come together to work in unison.
The National Chairman also took a call at the meeting from Delta State APC Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, who was unavoidably absent and wished him quick recovery from his surgery.
Leaders at the meeting included the Founding Leader of the APC in Delta State, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor OON , Former Minister Elder Godsday Orubebe, Senator Ede Dafinone, Senator Joel Thomas-Onowakpo, House of Rep Member Rev Francis Waive and Former Speaker Hon Victor Ochei.
