APC Congratulates Edo People, Gov Okpebholo on 100 Days Milestones

A statement signed by Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, the APC chairman in the state, employed Edo people “irrespective of political differences to join the developmental train”, according to him, elections were over” and added that, the “kindred Edo Spirit should be over and above individual interest.”
The statement reads: “As we mark the 100 Days of His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo as the Governor of dear Edo State, we join the over Four Million men and women; boys and girls to say congratulations to everyone that has made this journey meaningful so far, to guarantee the shared prosperity for all of us.

“Our government has hit the ground running and God has been helpful and remain the guide to the governor and his team to work and translate his vision into practical, and measurable deliverables.
“To reignite our culture of food-self-sufficiency, the governor has flagged-off back to farm program with interest free loan for farmers to fast track the state’s agricultural revolution in line with our 5-Point Agenda.
“In just 100 Days, the People’s Governor has employed 300 hitherto casual workers, into the State Civil Service, and there is also an ongoing recruitment exercise to employ hundreds of staff with technical skills into the service.”

Stressing the efforts being made by the administration to revamp the infrastructures in the state, Tenebe revealed that, “…presently, construction works are ongoing across the Three Senatorial Districts to revamp schools, primary health centres and roads at very fast pace as never been seen before.

“The construction of iconic flagship Ramat Park flyover has commenced to the joy of Edo people and as a party, we are pleased with the pace of work.
“For the first time in over five years, Nigerians will in the next few weeks, travel on the Benin-Okene-Abuja road, along the Edo axis freely through the effort of Governor Okpebholo. This is in addition to the over 100 ongoing multi-sector projects across the state—in just 100 Days.”
The APC expressed readiness to deliver on all campaign promises that were made tobEdo people. “As we mark this eventful first 100-Days in office, we recommit to the promise of a New Edo where everyone—no matter the status, will have equal opportunity to attain their potentials.”
