Benin City, Edo State — Senator Neda Imasuen has officially unveiled a new book documenting his achievements and contributions during his first two years in the Senate, offering what he described as a transparent account of his legislative journey and service to constituents.

The unveiling ceremony has been planned to take place across the Seven Local Government Areas in Edo South Constituency during his forthcoming ‘Constituency Tour’ to seek the endorsement of leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for his second term reelection.

The book highlights key bills sponsored, motions raised, committee engagements, and constituency projects executed since his inauguration into the National Assembly about two years ago

Speaking to newsmen about the book, Imasuen emphasized the importance of accountability and public engagement in governance. He noted that the publication was designed to keep constituents informed and to foster trust between elected officials and the people they represent.

“This book is not just a record of activities, but a reflection of my commitment to effective representation, good governance, and the democratic ideals we all share,” he said.

According to the senator, the documented achievements span multiple sectors, including education, infrastructure, youth empowerment, healthcare and legal reforms. He also outlined efforts to address pressing national issues through legislative advocacy and collaboration with fellow lawmakers.

Members of the Civil Society have praised Senator Imasuen’s effort in putting together the book and urged other public officials to adopt similar approaches in documenting and communicating their performance.

While Political analysts say such publications can serve as valuable tools for civic awareness, allowing citizens to better assess the performance of their representatives.

The book is expected to be distributed across the senator’s constituency and made available to the general public, both in print and digital formats.

The planned unveiling comes at a time when public demand for accountability and measurable results from elected officials continues to grow across Nigeria.
