Edo 2024: APC Screening Committee Recommends Umakhihe, Imuse, Agba, Imasuen, Others

The Hon Julius Ihonvbere special committee set up by the leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) to reduce the 29 governorship aspirants, angling to pick the party’s ticket has concluded their report.

Midwest Herald can authoritatively report that, six aspirants have scaled through the first hurdle and cleared to commence their campaign and also partake in the February 19, 2024 primary election.

Those that have made the list are:

• Dr. Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe (Owan East Local Government Area)
• Prince Clem Agba (Etsako East Local Government Area)
• Mr. Lucky Imasuen (Ovia North East Local Government Area)
• Mr. Dennis Idahosa (Ovia South West Local Government Area)
• Dr. David Imuse (Esan West Local Government Area)
• Senator Monday Okpebholo (Esan Central Local Government Area).

All the aspirants will be invited tomorrow, January 19, 2024 to meet with the APC leaders in Abuja.
