Former Edo State Governor and Senator representing Edo North, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has highlighted the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration during a meeting with APC leaders and candidates in Edo North.

The meeting, which brought together party leaders and candidates contesting elections into the State and National Assemblies, featured warm exchanges, enthusiastic dancing and political discussions ahead of the forthcoming elections.

Oshiomhole, who hosted the gathering, welcomed party leaders and candidates before using the occasion to highlight what he described as the gains of the Tinubu administration, particularly in relation to Edo North.

The former governor subsequently turned his attention to opposition figures, taking aim at former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi.

Oshiomhole questioned Atiku’s political and personal choices, alleging that his marriages were influenced by political considerations. He also referred to the former vice president as a “Dubai citizen”.

On Peter Obi, Oshiomhole criticised his movement across political parties, questioning his ability to build and sustain a political platform with a lasting organisational structure.

The meeting provided an opportunity for Oshiomhole to engage APC stakeholders, address issues surrounding the party’s political fortunes and underscore the importance of unity and mobilisation among leaders and candidates in Edo North ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The broadcast captured Oshiomhole’s remarks, including his assessment of the Tinubu administration, his commendation of Momoh and his criticisms of opposition leaders.
