The Ladies Golf Association of Nigeria (LGAN), led by its President, Dr. Lami Ahmed, paid a courtesy visit to Senator Neda Imasuen as part of efforts to garner support for the All Africa Challenge Trophy (AACT) 2026, the association’s flagship continental golf championship.
During the visit, Dr. Ahmed briefed the Senator on preparations for the prestigious tournament, emphasizing its importance in promoting women’s golf, discovering new talents, fostering international sportsmanship, and showcasing Nigeria’s capacity to host world-class sporting events.
She noted that the successful hosting of AACT 2026 would not only strengthen the development of women’s golf across Africa but also boost sports tourism and enhance Nigeria’s image on the international stage.
