A former Commissioner of Oil and Gas and Commissioner of Transport, Comrade Orobosa Omo-Ojo JP, has advised the Edo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman, Mr. Tony Aziegbemi to refrain from carelessly blaming the failure of his party on the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, the state chairman.

Omo-Ojo in a signed statement today, October 15, explained that Aziegbemi’s interest is how he can tamper with sensitive materials that were used for the recent governorship election in Edo State. He aadded that, the right time to sack Aziegbemi is now.

Below is the Press Statement:

“Reading through the statement of Mr. Tony Aziegbemi, Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, one is forced to laugh at his poor understanding of political dynamics, especially with his irrelevant bad temper tantrums at Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, the ‘Dean’s and APC Chairman that has buried PDP in Edo State.

“Aziegbemi’s unguided claim that he is aware of a so called “devious ploy of the APC to stall the order given by a competent Court for the PDP to inspect election materials,” is nothing but a skewed imagination of a sore loser who has become habitually angered, irritated and annoyed because his divided PDP did not win the election that has been hailed as free and fair by over 50 election observers.

“Aziegbemi’s pain stem from the fact that, Mr. Tenebe and the gallant APC youths prevented him and his gang of election riggers from gaining access to the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at Aduwawa, with his intention to have undeserved advantage over other political parties.

“Aziegbemi’s empty chest beating reassurance to reclaim PDP’s phantom mandate, shall remain with him as unfilled dream.”

He added that, “…the earlier Aziegbemi and his PDP accept their fate, the better for them, because Edo people will not allow them to re-loot their votes from INEC, just as PDP has looted the state,” the former Special Adviser on Tourism to Governor Adams Oshiomhole warned.
