Edo 2024: Dr. Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe Congratulates Idahosa for Emerging APC's flagbearer

One of the twelve aspirants that were successfully screened by the All Progressives Congress, APC to contest for the upcoming governorship election in Edo State, Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe PhD, OON, has congratulated the winner of the contest, Hon. Dennis Idahosa.

Dr. Umakhihe’s message, titled ‘Congratulations on your Victory’, was personally signed by him on behalf of Dr. Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe Campaign Organisation.

The retired Permanent Secretary and renowed public administrator charged Idahosa to “colaborate with all interest groups to ensure victory for our party, the All Progressives Congress, to right the maladministration that has been visited on the state.”

He said: “On behalf of all of us at the Dr. Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe Campaign Organization, please accept our warmest congratulations on your election as our party’s governorship candidate.

“As you prepare for the electioneering campaigns, be rest assured of my support and others of my campaign organization.”

Dr. Umakhihe added that he was optimistic about Idahosa’s ability to lead APC to victory and provide dividends of democracy to Edo people.

“I am optimistic that you will colaborate with all interest groups to ensure victory for our party, the All Progressives Congress, to right the maladministration that has been visited on the state.” The statement concluded.
