Two groups, Christians in Leadership for Societal Development and Arewa Pastors Association, came together yesterday, April 27, 2024 to lend their unwavering support to Senator Monday Okpebholo, the APC gubernatorial candidate for the September 21, 2024 governorship election in Edo state.
The gathering which was marked by prayers and speeches, had Christian leaders who declared their commitment to Senator Okpebholo’s vision for a brighter future for Edo State.
They pledged their collective endorsement to his candidacy, recognizing his unwavering dedication to serving the people and advancing the values of unity, progress, and inclusivity.
The Christian leaders echoed the sentiments of their members who look to Senator Okpebholo for hope and inspiration.
According to the organisers, the event was designed to strength his support base and to express their belief in his ability to lead Edo State towards a prosperous and promising future.
A spokesman of the organisers affirmed that, “Together, united in purpose and determination, Senator Okpebholo and the Christian leaders will pave the way for a new chapter in Edo’s history, one defined by restored hope, unhindered progress, and the unwavering commitment to building a better tomorrow for all.”
The event took place at the residence of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu in Benin City, Edo State.
