Report reaching our news room a while ago, has confirmed that the much anticipated collation of results from the 192 wards across the 18 local government areas will commence this Friday morning at Lushville Hotel and Suites in Benin City, the state capital.

Cross River Governor Bassey Otu, who is the Chairman of the rescheduled poll had on Thursday morning informed all the aspirants that the fresh primary election will be conducted across the 192 wards, in view of the cancellation of last Saturday’s controversial exercise by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the governing party.

Several party members are already gathered, including officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and relevant security operatives at the collation centre.
