A leading contender and to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Edo South Senatorial Ticket, Pastor Osagie Andrew Ize-Iyamu has called on members of the All Progressives Congress ahead of the party’s presidential primaries scheduled for tomorrow, urging party faithful across the country to turn out massively in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-nomination bid.
In a statement released on the eve of the primaries, Ize-Iyamu described the exercise as another important moment in Nigeria’s democratic journey and a chance for the ruling party to reaffirm its commitment to national progress and unity.
The former Edo governorship candidate and senior APC chieftain appealed to supporters to remain loyal to the party and President Tinubu, whom he praised for advancing developmental initiatives across the nation.
He encouraged members to actively participate in the primaries and mobilise others to do same, stressing that collective involvement would strengthen both the party and the country’s democratic process.
According to him, continued support for President Tinubu’s vision would help sustain ongoing efforts aimed at national growth and development.
“Together, we shall continue to move our party and nation forward,” Ize-Iyamu said while thanking party members for their steadfast support and dedication to the APC.
It will be recalled that Abubakar Kabiru had declared Pastor Osagie Andrew Ize-Iyamu, winner of the highly competitive APC Edo South Senatorial primary, held on Monday May 18, 2026 across the 77 wards of Edo South.
