Dr. Owen Omo-Ojo Wins AFSA Distinguished Humanitarian Service Award

Public Health Advocate, Dr. Owen Omo—Ojo, MD, MPH has been honoured with the coveted ‘Arewa Female Students Association’ (AFSA) Distinguished Humanitarian Service Award in Lagos, Nigeria.
The executives of AFSA presented its Service Award to Dr. Owen Omo-Ojo, Managing Director and Chief Executive Office of HIGC Health Consultants, in recognition of her sustained contributions to healthcare access, community development, women and youth empowerment across Nigeria.
The award was formally presented on Wednesday, 11 February 2026, a courtesy visit by the association’s national leadership to Dr. Omo-Ojo’s office in Lagos.
