“They’re Kidnapping People Because Somebody Wants to Win Election.. They Did This to Goodluck Jonathan and Succeeded” – Okpebholo

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, has accused desperate politicians of plotting to defeat President Bola Tinubu with the excuse of insecurity, according to him, as “…they did to Goodluck Jonathan.”

Okpebholo, stressed that kidnappers are targeting residents to blackmail President Bola Tinubu.

He spoke yesterday Friday 5, 2025 when he received a delegation of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Edo State visited him in his office. Okpebholo explained that, the people behind the incessant abductions were out to discourage the president Tinubu with insecurity.

“We will not succumb to blackmail. Because what they are doing now is that they will go and kidnap people just because they want to discourage Mr. President.

“Mr. President is resilient. They are kidnapping people because somebody wants to win election, it’s not fair.

“They did this to Goodluck Jonathan and they succeeded, but we know their trick already,” the APC governor emphatically said.
