Edo APC Appoints Aigboboh Acting Deputy State Chairman

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State has strengthened the State Executive Council of the party with the appointment of Honourable Sylvester Aigboboh as Acting Deputy State Chairman.
Aigboboh comes into the position with strategic experience, having played omnibus and pivotal role in the election that gave victory to the APC and Governor Monday Okpebholo in the last governorship election.
The APC announced his appointment in a press release issued by the party’s Secretariat.
The latest development follows the regularization of the former Deputy State Chairman, Emperor Khalifa Jaret Tenebe, to substantive State Chairman,
According to the release, Pedro Esangbedo was aslo appointed as the Acting Vice Chairman for Edo Central Senatorial District following the defection of Chief Francis Inegbeniki, the former Vice Chairman for Edo Central, to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“In accordance with the provisions of the APC constitution and for the continued efficiency of the party’s operations, it became imperative to fill these positions with individuals of proven character and integrity,” the statement read.
The statement explained that the appointments are in line with the party’s constitution and are aimed at ensuring smooth and effective administration within the party structure.
