Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi Bid Farewell to Mother in-law, Deaconess Grace Uhuamen Olatudun Olague-Nee Amadasun in Style

On Thursday 27th March and Saturday 29th March, 2025, Engr. Chris Osa Ogiemwonyi, FNSE, KSC, JP, former Group Executive Director, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), held funeral activities for his late mother in-law, Deaconess Grace Uhuamen Olatudun Olague (Nee Arnodasun) in Benin City.
















All the events were well attended by both families and well wishers from home and abroad, including politicians, professionals, judiciary and academia.
The ceremonies kicked off on Thursday 27th March with a Service of Songs/Lying in States and Interment at the residence of deceased in Benin City.
On Saturday 29th March 2025, Engr. Ogiemwonyi along with his wife and family members hosted guests and friends to a bespoke funeral reception, which gave an opportunity for tributes to the beautiful life Deaconess Grace Uhuamen Olatudun Olague lived.
Horatio Marquee in Benin City, venue of the event was decorated to reflect the celestial air that enveloped the occasion.
The well attended event had the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Mr. Dennis Idahosa in attendance.
Others include Justice Maureen Ojo, Chief Magistrate Esohe Lydia Igodan,
Mr. Samson Osagie (Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General of Edo State), Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Prince Austin Eweka, Lady Omorede Osifo (APC Deputy National Treasurer), Comrade Orobosa Omo-Ojo JP, Mr. Segun Odegbami (ex Green Eagles player), Chief Owen Obaseki, Hon. Chris Nehikhare, (former Commissioner of Information and Orientation), Mrs Edesili Anani (Administrator, Office of Edo State First Lady), Hon. Bisi Idahomi (Commissioner of Women Affairs) and several others.
Then on Sunday 30th, March 2025, the families were at Gospel Information Ministries International to thank God for the successful events.
