Ngozi Iweala, Soludo Onaiwu Awarded African Culture Fashion Icon Awards

On Sunday December 1, 2024, the National Council for Arts and Culture hosted a glamorous ceremony to honor outstanding achievers in the fashion and culture industry.
The esteemed African Culture and Fashion Icon Awards recognized the contributions of several notable individuals, including, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, renowned economist and international development expert; Professor Charles Soludo, Governor of Anambra State and Earl Osaro Onaiwu, former Director General Governors forum, for his outstanding role in the development of iconic fashion brand.
Other awardees included Richard Mofe Damijo, actor and fashion enthusiast; Lexy Mojo-Eyes, organizer of the famous Nigeria Fashion show; Otunba Runsewe former Director General Nigeria Tourism Development Council.
The event was coordinated by Judith Israel Shuaibu, CEO Africa Fashion Culture Award, which attracted prominent figures in Nigeria’s fashion world.
It celebrated the rich cultural heritage and fashion excellence of Africa. The National Council for Arts and Culture’s initiative aims to promote and preserve African Culture, while recognizing the achievements of individuals who have made significant contributions to the industry.
