Edo Guber Election: Senator Okpebholo Heads For Epic Victory!

The 2024 governorship election in Edo State has been won and lost.
Results monitored by the Midwest Herald points to a comfortable path to victory for the All Progressives Congress candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo.
With a total of 13 Local Government Areas won at the time of our report, Edo State is set to welcome a new Caesar and conqueror of the ‘Gaul’.
Earlier, the All Progressives Congress had hinted Nigerians that victory was imminent through a statement signed by Emperor Jarret Tenebe, Edo State Chairman.
“The All Progressives Congress candidate in the 2024 governorship election is set to be announced as winner of the contest by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
“Results so far collated by the Independent National Electoral Commission, from wards and local governments across the state reflects a comfortable lead by our party.
“We urge everyone to await the INEC to officially announce the results in line with the nation’s electoral laws,” the APC reiterated.
The much awaited September 21, governorship election was a referendum on the dismay performance of Mr. Godwin Obaseki, the rancorous incumbent governor of Edo State.
