Senator Natasha Empowers Women in Abigborodo Community in Delta State

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, has continued to exercise her benevolence and humanitarian services beyond her immediate constituency, with the latest empowerment of hundreds of women in Abigborodo community, Delta State, her husband’s place.
According to Senator Natasha’s Chief Press Secretary, Arogbonlo Israel, the empowerment programme was aimed at promoting economic self-reliance amongst women through the provision of business and trade tools and resources.
Addressing the gathering, Senator Natasha emphasised her passion for grassroots development and economic inclusion, noting that, empowering women is key to sustaining growth in rural communities.
Senator Natasha added that: “This initiative reflects my commitment to ensuring that women, irrespective of location, are given the tools to thrive economically and support their families.”
The statement also added that, the programme aligns with the senator’s broader vision of fostering entrepreneurship, skills acquisition, and sustainable economic growth for women and youth across Nigeria.
Community leaders, women groups, and stakeholders present at the event lauded Akpoti-Uduaghan’s efforts, describing her initiative as a life-changing intervention.
The beneficiaries who spoke through Mrs. Elohor Ufuoma, expressed gratitude, pledging that the items would be put to good use to better their loves.
