Rt. Hon. Shaibu Commiserates with late Adizatu Dazumi, Prays Allah to Grant Her Family Strength

The immediate past Deputy Governor of Edo State and Director General, National Institute for Sports, Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu has commiserated with the family of late Mrs. Adizatu Dazumi who passed away in the holy land during her pilgrimage.
The 75-year-old female pilgrim from Edo, died at the ongoing 2025 Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia after a brief illness.
The late pilgrim was from Jattu Uzairue in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo and passed away on Monday at the King Fahad General Hospital, Makkah.
“According to report, I learnt that Mrs. Dazumi fell ill shortly after performing Tawaaf, the circumambulation around the Kaaba and was admitted to the hospital on Sunday, but sadly, she died the following day.
“The loss is painful, especially at this time that the Uzairue kingdom needs experience community leaders like her to bring about lasting peace in our state and Nigeria.” Comrade Shaibu wrote.
His Excellency expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and encouraged her family to remain steadfast in serving Allah, the Almighty who has power over life and death.
“Even as you mourn, please be reminded that Allah, is merciful and he alone decides when to call us back home. So, the passing away of our mother should rededicate your zeal towards the service of Allah.”
