Today, May 26 is very significant to the good people of Eti-Oni, Nigeria’s leading Cocoa producing community in Osun State, South West of Nigeria. In particular, the cocoa farmers in Osun and the chocolate industry world-wide are in jubilant mood celebrating the birth anniversary of His Royal Majesty Oba Taiwo Oladokun Thompson Gureje IV the Oloni of Eti-Oni, Osun State.
Our King is a twin and so the celebration is double barreled—as Her Royal Highness Princess Kehinde Yemisi Thompson-Bello continues to receive the garlands of honour and brightly coloured petals from well wishers across the globe.

Hon. Orobosa Omo-Ojo JP and Dr. (Mrs.) Betty Omo-Ojo on behalf of their family, join Kabiyesi’s wife—Her Royal Majesty Queen Angelique-Monet Gureje-Thompson, the Yeyeluwa Olori of Eti-Oni, Osun State, to celebrate the very refined and progressive monarch on this special day.
It is an established fact that in Yoruba culture, and most African tradition, twins are considered divine gifts, as bearers of prosperity, double and abundant blessings.
The Omo-Ojos join also, thousands of your subjects home and abroad as they celebrate today, to joyfully honor the birth of the iconic royal twins.
May this day reflect the grace and favor that has always surrounded their lives.
As a twin and a Monarch, His Royal Majesty has continued to embody legacy and heritage value and everyone celebrates the journey shared from birth with his beloved, regal, and humble sister—Yemisi.
Kabiyesi, long shall you reign in good health, peace with your people and your reign over your subjects shall continue to attract development to Eti-Oni and Osun State in general, to all your subjects too, your chiefs and friends.
