Police Arrest Driver, 50 for Sexually Molesting 15-Year-Old Daughter of Edo Politician

Edo State police command has arrested one Mohammed Ihuenuma, 50 years, for alleged sexual molestation of a 15-year-old girl who has been reported to be a daughter of driver in Benin City.
Yamu advised members of the public to endeavour to report cases of rape, indecent assault and defilement to the police for immediate action.
The arrest of the suspect, who is the official driver of one of the Special Advisers to Governor Monday Okpebholo, followed followed a formal report by the father of the victim.
According to report, the suspect sought every opportunity to “…fiddle” with the young girl whenever he is at the special adviser’s house.
Part of the allegation is that, the driver had severally seduced and enticed the special adviser’s daughter girl, and the process, touched her in “…indecent manner at different times.”
It was further revealed that, the alleged victim eventually reported the incident to her mother who in turn informed her husband of the allegation. The special adviser made a report to the police, which lead to the arrest of the suspect.
The State Police Command’s Spokesman, CSP Moses Yamu, who confirmed the arrest of the suspect, disclosed that a thorough investigation is ongoing, after which the suspect would be charged to court.
Accordingly, the State Commissioner of Police, Monday Agbonika, the spokesman explained, has zero tolerance for cases associated with Gender-Based Violence (GBV.
