On Saturday February 22, 2025, the traditional ceremony and installation of Pa J.E. Aigboboh as Edionwele of Ekunalen Community of Illeh, Ekpoma, assumed a rare cultural and heritage event that rightly reminded visitors from home and abroad, that indeed, Edo State is the bastion of authentic tangible and intangible history, traditions, customs, and practices.
The ceremony was attended by captains of industry, Pa Aigboboh Installation as Edionwele of Ekunalen Rekindles Cultural Traditions in Edo State and professionals, who came to rejoice with Edionwele Aigboboh and his family.
On ground to receive guests was Hon. Sylvester Aigboboh, the amiable and gregarious public servant.
The gathering was a testament that the reign of Aigboboh as Edionwele of Ekunalen, will bring blessings, prosperity, and peace to the community and the local government area at large.
Moved by the show of love shown to the family, Hon. Aigboboh who is the Personal Assistant to the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, expressed gratitude to all those that made the installation of his Father as the Edionwele of Ekunalen community, a huge success.
A short statement he released reads:”On behalf of the entire Aigboboh family, I, Hon. Sylvester Aigboboh, Personal Assistant to the Governor of Edo State and the Director General (DG) of Hon. Joseph Ikpea Campaign Organization for Edo Central Senatorial bye election, would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who graced the momentous occasion of the installation of my father, Pa J.E. Aigboboh, as the Odionwele of Ekunalen community, Illeh, Ekpoma.
