The relief came when the former governor and now Senator Adams Oshiomhole, honoured the invitation of incumbent Governor Godwin Obaseki, an ex political godson, to the celebration of Edo State at 32 and 60 years anniversary of the Midwest Referendum.

The event which took place at the Sir Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub, Benin City, brought togther several dignitaries, including two former governors of the state, Comrade Oshiomhole and Prof Oserheimen Osunbor.

The Delta State governor was represented by his Commissioner for works, and a representative of Bayelsa State Governor. Also present were the Secretary to Edo State Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq, as well as the Secretary General, Benin Indigenous People Assembly (BIPA) and Publisher of Midwest Herald Community Newspaper, Hon.
