Late Col Ogbebor Estate: Bini Group Commends Senator Imasuen

A pan Benin group, the ‘Bini Awareness Group’, has commended Senator Neda Imasuen from Edo South for his swift action in stopping the demolition notice on the property of the late Colonel Paul Ogbebor, Nigeria’s first cadet officer.

Mr. Igbiniosa Eweka, a member of the group in Abuja, also commended the Senate President and other senators for supporting the motion to stop the demolition.

Senator Neda Imasuen, a Labour Party member, has been representing Edo South Senatorial District since June 2023.

His prompt response to the demolition notice demonstrates his commitment to protecting the interests of his constituents and preserving the legacy of notable figures like Colonel Ogbebor.

The group’s commendation highlights the importance of community advocacy and the role of elected officials in responding to the needs of their constituents. Mr eweka also called on members of house representative from Edo South to support senator Neda imasuen in the fight against injustice against a Bini hero.
