Keyamo Wins New Telegraph Minister of The Year Award

The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Olorogun Festus Keyamo, SAN, CON, yesterday, at the Grand Ballroom of the prestigious Lagos Oriental Hotel, Lagos, received the Award of Minister of the Year by the New Telegraph Newspaper.

The hardworking minister used the occasion to pledged his rededication to the service of Nigeria and his duties at the Ministry of Aviation. He renewed his vow to strictly abide by his Oath of Office.

Sharing a post on his ‘X’ handle, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria said: “Yesterday, at the Grand Ballroom of the prestigious Lagos Oriental Hotel, I received the Award of Minister of the Year by the New Telegraph Newspaper.

“I pledged to rededicate myself to my duties and to strictly abide by my Oath of Office.”

This is coming on the heels of a recent conferment of a Honorary Fellowship Award from the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State, the highest award the school gives to deserving individuals.

Keyamo was decorated by the institution’s Rector, Dr. M.A. Akinde, during the 45th Founder’s Day Anniversary and 22nd Convocation Ceremony of the institution.

On March 12, 2025, Honourable Minister, Festus Keyamo will be decorated as Nigeria’s Minister of the Year after a keenly contested poll by Midwest Herald Newspaper.

The celebration which comes up at the Cathelea Convention Centre, Benin City, is slated for March 12, 2025, will be hosted by the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo and chaired by Oba Dokun Thompson Gureje IV Oloni if Eti-Oni and Olori Angelique-Monet Gureje-Thompson.
