Emirates Airline Return, Visa Issuance to Nigerians Imminent

Barring any late hurdles, the Emirates Airlines will resume flights to Nigeria any time from now. The United Arab Emirates is also set to restore the issuance of visas to Nigerians.
The latest development was shared with Midwest Herald by a high level source in Abu Dhabi. Presently, we are told, that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken the two long drawn dispute as must “do”, due to the importance the present administration has attached to the aviation sector.
Midwest Herald has also gathered that the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development , Olorogun Festus Keyamo, SAN, who has been working round the clock to normalize the relationship between Nigeria and UAE is on ground to advance talks.
President Tinubu President Bola Tinubu is meeting with the leadership of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Abu Dhabi. The meeting is expected to resolve the diplomatic dispute with Nigeria.
UAE has placed the visa ban on Nigerians since October 2022 and Emirates Airlines’ flight suspension to Africa’s most populous nation.
