Edo NUJ Correspondents’ Chapel Scores Gov Okpebholo High on 100-Days in Office

Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council has commended Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo for his bold steps in road rehabilitation and urban renewal projects.

In a congratulatory message on the occasion of Governor Okpebholo’s first 100 days in office and jointly signed by Comrade Patrick Ochoga and Patrick Ahanor, chairman and secretary of the chapel respectively, they noted that the administration has also provided purposeful leadership, visionary governance and unwavering commitment to the development of Edo State.

While pledging objective reportage of government policies and programmes to promote transparency, accountability, and good governance by members of the chapel, Ochoga and Ahanor said that Governor Okpebholo’s bold initiatives have, no doubt, significantly improved transportation networks across the state and ease movement for citizens and businesses.

The chairman and the scribe described the government Back-to-Farm programme as a strategic move towards food security, job creation and geared towards uplifting the economy through agriculture.

The statement added: “Your inclusive approach to governance and willingness to engage stakeholders in decision-making reflect your dedication to ensure that every Edo citizen benefits from government policies.
