The Justice Wilfred Kpochi-led’s three-member tribunal is set to deliver judgment on the cases that were filed, challenging the election of Senator Monday Okpebholo in the last September 21, 2024 governorship election in Edo State.

The Tribunal had earlier reserved judgment on the petitions, including the one filed by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its governorship candidate, Asue Ighodalo.

The PDP and Ighodalo are challenging the September governorship election conducted in the state by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), which declared the All Progressives Congress’ Monday Okpebholo the winner of the polls.

According to the notice signed by M. I. Bagudu Esq. Secretary of the tribunal and sent to counsels in the case, the tribunal will deliver judgement on Wednesday April 2nd, 2025.
