Edo South People Condemns NDDC Aisowieren for Questioning Chief Osawaru’s Academic Qualification

Edo State representative in the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and two—term Member of Federal House of Representatives, Mr. Patrick Aisowieren has alleged that the incumbent Member representing Orhionmwon/Uhunmwonde Federal Constituency of peddling uncertified academic certificates. Aisowieren also labeled Chief Osawaru ‘a school drop out’ who was rusticated.
“He was rusticated,” Aisowieren insisted. The All Progressives Congress (APC) leader in Orhionmwon made the derogatory remakes amidst political tension surrounding the the APC primaries for the 2027 party tickets in Edo State.
“They call him Doctor Billy everywhere I go, but when INEC asked for his academic record, he presented a WAEC certificate. I asked him, ‘where is your Doctorate or Masters Degree?’ I didn’t know the ‘Dr’ we were calling him actually meant he was a native doctor. He was rusticated from school.” Aisowieren said while addressing a crowd of politicians in his native Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State.
However, Aisowieren has come under severe attack from political leaders in Edo South, calling his unguarded utterance as “malicious” and “unacceptable”.
They condemned Aisowieren for his uncultured and brash behaviour which they said has portrayed him as a “non-true Benin son”.
“Cheif Osawaru Billy is schooled and Educated. Discard any the rubbish Aisowieren said about his education, it’s an attempt to disvalue and discredit him.
“It’s unacceptable because you don’t need to bring others down for your own lifting,” an angry leader from Orhionmwon told Midwest Herald.
Preliminary investigations show that, Aisowieren may have started a political fire that is capable of igniting an already inflamed tension in the ruling APC in Edo South.
Midwest Herald can also report authoritatively that the Aisowieren’s needless attack on Chief Osawaru will witness an unprecedented legal battle between the former friends turn foes.
