Edo APC Felicitates with Benin Monarch, Oba Ewuare II On His Coronation Anniversary

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has sent a congratulatory message to the Benin Monarch, as he marks the 8th year on the Royal throne of Benin Kingdom.

In a letter personally signed by the state chairman of the APC, Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, the party said His Majesty’s reign on the throne of his forefathers had brought abundant blessings and peace to Edo State.

The statement reads: “On this auspicious occasion of the celebration of the 8th year anniversary of our Royal Majesty, the Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo Oba Ewuare II GFR, the APC, Edo State Chapter, rejoicefully join all well-wishers to commemorate this all important occasion in the history of our great kingdom.

“Your reign on the throne of your forefathers has brought abundant blessings and peace to our dear state.

‘We identify with your fatherly prayers which culminated in the very most peaceful atmosphere which has prevailed in the state.

“This celebration is momentous in the life of our great state as it coincides with the inauguration of a new APC Government in the state.

“While we continue to request for your fatherly prayers and supplication, we wish His Royal Majesty a robust health and long life on the throne.

“Long shall you reign, your Royal Majesty.

“Oba Gha to Kpere, Ise!!”
