Ebo Stone Dumps PDP… "We Cannot Sell Edo to Lagosians Again", He Insists

A prominent member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State reeling, Comrade Kelly Okungbowa, aka Ebo Stone,” has resigned from the ruling party.

“His decision is contained in a letter addressed to the Ward 3 Chairman of Oredo chapter of the party.

Mr. Okungbowa is the president of Youth For Youth, an strong youth grassroots movement with a slogan: “Edo is not for sale.”

Ebo Stone is however silent on his next political move and this has generated suspense among the political parties.

The resignation letter reads: “I hereby tender resignation of my membership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), effective from today the 2nd day of July 2024.

“I wish to express my gratitude to you for the support that I received from your Exco during my time with the party.

“I am appreciative of the brotherly love and solidarity provided by the esteemed members of your exco.

“I solicit for your understanding as I cannot remain in a house that is divided against itself, I need a short break to enable me consult with my followers and political associates on our next line of action, as I dont want to make a second mistake.”
